Luis Camilo was born in Salcedo, Dominican Republic, in 1976. Since childhood, he showed a great interest in art, and began painting in the late 1990s. In 2000, he moved to Santo Domingo, where he met the artist Miguel Gómez , who taught him different painting techniques.

Thanks to Miguel Gómez, Luis Camilo managed to develop his own style, which is characterized by his use of bright colors and exuberant textures, a style that is still maintained today and that has evolved from impressionism to what is today the
expressionism…
